Frequently, patients referred to The Boston Center for rehabilitative services are medically stable; therefore, they no longer need to stay in an acute care hospital, but are not yet able to care for themselves at home. The Boston Center’s goal is to provide physical, occupational, and speech therapy (if needed) in order to facilitate each patient’s independence as quickly as possible.
